Leaving a boudoir photo under your pillow is a great way to add excitement to your love life or seduce the tooth fairy. Delight the loves of your life with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $99 for an on-location pin-up and burlesque portrait session for one with 10 retouched images (a $200 value)
- $1,499 for an on-location pin-up and burlesque portrait session for up to 15 people with 10 retouched images (a $3,000 value)
During two-hour private portrait sessions and group parties, held at the location of their choice, subjects get their hair and makeup done from a professional stylist before posing for a 30-minute pin-up or burlesque-themed photo shoot—then repeat the entire process with a second outfit. (Though the studio does have a few lingerie items on-hand, they recommend that subjects bring a couple of their favorite outfits from home.) Editors then retouch 10 of the most flattering photos and e-mail them out within five business days.
Burlesque Me, Baby!
Lauren Oppelt and Blair Hopkins—the owners of Burlesque Me, Baby!—could have a whole business catering to the stars. In fact, Lauren has served as a stylist for Saturday Night Live and worked with celebrities such as Russell Brand and Tim Curry, and Blair's photographs have appeared in newspapers in multiple major cities. Yet the duo's passions lie beyond star-studded magazines, and instead they focus their collective talents on creating seductive, beautiful portraits of regular women, capturing their innate personality, confidence, and physical beauty.
Traveling directly to client's homes—and sometimes on tour overseas—Lauren and Blair photograph clients in two distinct "looks" inspired by burlesque and pin-up themes. During any given session, Lauren first works with the client's hair, makeup, and wardrobe to develop a smoldering ensemble. Blair then has ladies pose for her camera, directing them so that they feel at once comfortable and sassy. The two work with women of all ages and sizes, and always maintain a body-positive atmosphere. They also retouch the shoot's resulting photos, though they don't tamper with anyone's overall appearance beyond subtracting blemishes, stretch marks, and scandalous thought bubbles.
