Burr’s Berry Farm
Burr's Berry Farm is so famous for its strawberries that its late owner was known as The Strawberry King. Charlie Burr began growing the berries in 1960, which eventually found their way onto roadside stands and into local grocery stores and homemade ice creams. Today, the strawberries remain the star of the show, available in freshly-picked form or dipped in chocolate, blended into yogurt, or mashed into jam. Guests can even stop by the farm to pick their own berries (or tomatoes, or herbs) straight from the ground, or from the wheelchair- and back-friendly vertical u-pick garden.
