C & E Farm
Sandwiched between a former hospital and former government farm lies C & E Farm—an urban oasis. The pick-your-own farm specializes in chemical-free produce as well as children's education; the former was a focus from the start, while the latter came to be after owners Cornelius and Emma Dudley hosted a Cub Scout group and taught them how to grow their own potatoes and rank badges. Today, the farm offers educational programs as well as seasonal experiences, such as a pumpkin patch every October.
