About C's Waffles Family Restaurant

The miles-long menu at C's Waffles Family Restaurant truly has something for everyone: veggie omelets, sirloin steak with eggs, and massive skillets and sandwiches. But it's the golden waffles that serve as C's headliner. Fluffy on the inside, delicately crisp on the outside, the house-made circles can be topped with bacon, peanut butter chips, bananas and berries with whipped cream, or practically anything else.

While it's the waffles that get all the attention, C's Waffles Family Restaurant is just as much about that third word in its name: family. It's been around for more than 20 years—in fact, some of the line cooks have been with C's since the very beginning—and when it was purchased by a local family in 2005, the "kids," Kenny and Melanie, took over management duties. "Over the years," says the owner, "we have made numerous friends through the restaurant who we consider family. We have watched customers' children grow from newborns to middle school," just as customers have watched "my children grow from teens to college students."
