What You'll Get
Pull on your tortilla swimsuit and surf a wave of salsa with today's Groupon. For $5, you'll get $10 worth of Mexican fare at Cachito de Mexico, a family-owned eatery that serves up authentic straight-outta-Chihuahua sabores for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Your Groupon also includes a free order of Cachito's sopapilla, a sweet dessert of fried pastry that can be covered with cinnamon, sugar, or honey.
Wake up with spicy sustenance like huevos rancheros ($4.99) or a breakfast taco with chorizo and egg ($1.25 each on the weekend, or three tacos for $2.89 on weekdays). Cachito de Mexico also serves traditional Mexican favorites, including enchiladas ($6.99), fajitas ($10.99), and chalupas ($6.99). For a heavy-duty dose of carne, try the Tampiquena plate ($11.99), which serves up a charcoaled, fine-cut filet with an enchilada, beans, rice, salad, and avocado. The restaurant's demure size allows all plates to be prepared fresh daily—as well as all the foods put on the plates.
Butterscotch-hued walls, colorfully clothed tables, and friendly waitstaff give Cachito de Mexico the festive feel your emo-goth mariachi band never quite achieved. Early risers will appreciate its accommodating hours (open at 6 a.m. daily), while night owls will find that it's a bit after their bedtime. Get this Groupon for a quick, flavorful bite, to clear up seasonal sinuses, or to challenge yourself to an all-you-can-eat chips and salsa competition.
- Great food. Great shrimp quesadillas. Excellent iced tea. – Joe b, Urbanspoon
- I've been here a few times and I'm still impressed by the cleanliness, the service, and of course, the traditonal [sic] Mexican fare. I recommend any of the caldos. The tortillas are made right there at the restaurant as are the chips and salsa. – Eli, Yahoo! Local
- This is my current favorite. Great Mexican food. I've been there several times, on different days of the week, and there's always been live music. Great deal on breakfast burritos. – Claudia S., Yelp

About Cachito de Mexico
Every morning, Cachito de Mexico’s chefs rise before the sun to prepare fresh tortillas. When the clock strikes 6 a.m., the doors swing open, revealing an expansive dining room where the rising sun lights up colorful booths, red chairs, and vibrant Mexican paintings. Throughout the day, servers parade out of the kitchen, balancing the authentic dishes from the San Luis Potosí, Chihuahua, and Jalisco regions that have won the restaurant praise from gastronomes from the San Antonio Express-News. The red, green, and mole enchiladas even won Best Enchilada from Conexión magazine in 2007. Dishes pair with towering glasses of fruity margaritas, frozen cocktails, and imported beers. Outside, tables shaded by red umbrellas speckle the patio, and cars line up before the drive-through window. On Friday and Saturday, live musicians and mariachis serenade diners, sparing customers the inconvenience of providing their own dinner entertainment by trying to swallow their butter knife.
