Caffeine Rebel
The folks behind Caffeine Rebel love to argue. And though their debates might last for minutes or for hours, the winner is always the same: Specialty Coffee. Every month, the staff must decide which roaster to feature in their Specialty Coffee subscription among the roasters they work with, including Intelligentsia Coffee, 49th Parallel Coffee, Social Coffee and Tea Co, Pig Iron, Detour, Anchored Coffee, and more. Their review process entails blind taste-testing more than 50 types of Specialty Coffee, fighting for their favorites, and eliminating the ones that are just strong tea in disguise.
Once they've agreed on a standout roaster, they ship out 12 oz. bags of beans to their subscribers. These monthly deliveries consist of one, two, or three different roasts from the same champion provider, depending on the member's subscription level. If they're in search of a specific roast, however, visitors to the Caffeine Rebel website can also browse and order from the entire catalogue.
