We do Parkour Ninja Zone. My six year-old loves it. I think the best part is that the gymnastics and parkour areas are separate, allowing the ninjas and gymnasts to do their thing.

What You'll Get

Kids, like Ponce de León, need constant supervision while exploring, or they’ll simply vanish into a jungle in search of eternal youth. Let your young one leap into adventure with today’s Groupon: for $50, your child gets a nine-week class in the spring or fall or two five-week sessions in the summer at Cage Gymnastics on SW 37th Street (a $105 value).

Cage Gymnastics loosens limbs, strengthens sinews, and reduces wind resistance with gymnastics, dance, cheer, and tumbling classes. Gymnastics classes promote motor skills, coordination, and self-confidence while thoroughly confusing inner ears. Kids progress through basic gymnastic positions in classes targeted at various skill and age levels. For beginners and young children, choose from four classes that emphasize basic positions and movements: Mighty Munchkins (age 3; child must be potty-trained), 4-year-old gymnastics, 5-year-old gymnastics, and 4- and 5-year-old gymnastics. Older children can spring into three classes where they tackle the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, rainbow diving, and floor exercise: level-one gymnastics (ages 6–8 or 8–11), advanced level-one gymnastics (ages 6–8 or 8–11; child must be able do a cartwheel and handstand), and boys-only gymnastics (ages 5–8 or 8 and up).

Intermediate students who receive a coach’s recommendation can advance to level-two (ages 6–8 or 8–11) or level-three gymnastics (ages 6 and up), in which children are challenged with maneuvers and drills on the bars and beam that require more strength, flexibility, and concentration, as well as the ability to knit Evel Knievel–like attire.

This Groupon is valid for the nine-week spring session (March 21–May 21), the two five-week summer sessions (May 30–July 2 and July 4–August 6), or the first fall session (August 16–October 16). Call for specific class days and times or visit Cage’s website to view a detailed schedule.
