Q:

I am interested in purchasing the $65 for a series of three intro digital photography workshops. Is this three 3 hour sessions foe a total of 9 hours or is it 3 one hour sessions for a total of 3 hours? Thank you!

SHERWOOD H.  asked on  Jun 27, 2012

A:

Each session is 3 hours, so if you purchase the Groupon for 3 workshops you'd receive a total of 9 hours instruction time.

For $65 is this three 3 hour sessions for a total of 9 hours or is it 3 one hour sessions for a total of 3 hours? Is content of $25 and $65 sessions the same? Thanks,

Correct. Content for the first class is iso, shutter speed and aperture. Second class is depth of field and white balance. Third class is a review and also discussion of exposure issues and various problems you may come across while making pictures.

Q:

My daughter is 13. She loves taking pictures, takes some pretty interesting shots, and has been asking to take a digital photography course. She has a very "basic" camera for now. Would this be appropriate for her? And would you recommend an adult come along with her? Thanks.

christine  asked on  Jun 26, 2012

A:

Preferably she'd have a DSLR, but can get by with a point and shoot.

Q:

My daughter and I were interested in taking this class together, but we only have 1 camera, a Nikon D3100. I also have a lumix point and shoot. She is the actual budding photographer and I'm just coming along. Will it still be worth while?

Jill L.  asked on  Jun 26, 2012

A:

You can share a camera for the class, but also bring the Lumix as well.

Q:

I have just purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS19. Would this class be appropriate for me?

Riva M.  asked on  Jun 26, 2012

A:

You'd get more out of the class with a DSLR. Although, some students have taken the class with a point and shoot and after the class purchased a DSLR because they had a better understanding of shutter, aperture and ISO.
