About California State Fair

Over 17 days each summer, Californianians comes together in a time-honored tradition known as the California State Fair. What began as a few agricultural displays in 1854 has become a robust celebration of industry, agriculture, and fun. Music from live concerts echoes through the grounds while guests chow down on bites from the Food Festival, snap photos in the Bank of America Selfie Experience, and compete at games in the new E-Sports Center. A mariachi competition, horse race, and Brewfest take place throughout the Fair, while other areas such as Shopper's Row and the indoor bazaar gather vendors from all over the state.
