Even if you've never been to Calandra's, it's very possible you've eaten its food. Since opening as a French-Italian bakery in 1962, the Calandra family has expanded its brand to include several restaurants that showcase their own line of pasta, sauces, olive oils, and wines. Calandra's Mediterranean Grill is the first of three Calandra restaurants and serves Northern Italian recipes in an upscale environment. Its most popular dishes consist of coiled Italian sausage over sautéed broccoli rabe, personal-size margarita pizzas, and homemade linguine vongole. Guests can linger with an order of ricotta cheesecake on the sunny patio during warmer months or by the indoor fireplace during chillier months.
