    With the exception of trained service dogs, dogs or other pets are not allowed in the Garden. Service animals must be specifically trained to assist a person with a disability, and must remain on a leash (no longer than 6') at all times.

    Is parking available at the California Botanic Garden?

    Yes, free parking is available in the main CalBG lot. During special garden events, parking directions may be adjusted. Additionally, bike parking facilities are conveniently located on the north side of the main parking lot.

    Are there any shops at the Garden, and do they require admission?

    The Garden features the Poppy Shop gift shop and the Grow Native Nursery (open October-June, check website for hours). Neither requires paid admission to browse or make purchases, allowing you to enjoy unique items and plants freely.
