In 1936, Mamma Loccoco began serving friends Italian cuisine made in her kitchen—making it quite literally homemade. This led to the opening of Cameo Pizza, where Mamma's family recipes and Old-World style mean quality is valued above all else. That’s why pizzas are topped with 100% mozzarella cheese, vine-ripened tomatoes, and high-caliber spices. And the crust is made from dough kneaded daily at Cameo's Sandusky store. These key ingredients form everything from classic pies to the Cameo O'Della's Choice, topped with grilled chicken, broccoli, tomatoes, hot peppers, and sauerkraut, and the Cameo Popeye Special, which (of course) contains olive oil and spinach, along with feta and fajita chicken.
