Camino Taco and Tequila Bar
Camino Taco and Tequila Bar fuses rustic influences and modern flair, creating a neighborhood hangout with contemporary interpretations of classic Mexican dishes. Smoky bacon or tangy goat cheese can add an unexpected twist to orders of guacamole. Even tacos surprise with inventive fillings such as wild boar and guajillo salsa, duck and chipotle-spiced crema, or chicken and mango. To accompany these dishes, bartenders pour a more traditional assortment of artisanal tequila flights, cocktails, and pints of imported Mexican beer.
Hefty wooden tables, multiple flat-screen televisions, and Gatorade-scented air fresheners reinforce the eatery's sports-bar vibe. However, the space also features some more rustic accent pieces. A mounted steer skull adorns one central column, and the dining area includes two benches with backs made from weathered pickup-truck tailgates.
