About Camp Spalding

Nestled in 500 acres of lakeside woods, Camp Spalding encourages youngsters and teens in grades 2–12 to explore the great outdoors, giving them a scenic playground to go boating, bounce on an aquatic trampoline, safely scale rope courses, and learn the art of horseback riding. Founded by local Presbyterian churches in 1957, the camp's activities are led by fun and friendly college-aged staffers who help demonstrate Christian values and guide campers in discussing life's big questions in light of scriptural teaching. Camp Spalding also incorporates classic summer camp traditions, such as creating crafts, singing songs, and triangulating ballistic Nerf missiles to hit rival camps.
