You may know The Zombies from their exuberant ’60s pop radio hits like “She’s Not There” and “Tell Her No,” but the UK group’s undisputed masterpiece was 1968’s Odessey & Oracle – a brilliantly crafted album packed with lush orchestral arrangements and melancholy lyrics that still holds its own alongside other seminal late-‘60s classics like Sgt. Pepper and Pet Sounds (Rolling Stone ranks it among the 100 Greatest Albums of All Time). Now founding Zombies members Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent are reuniting with original bassist Chris White and drummer Hugh Grundy for their first American tour in five decades. The British psych-pop legends will bring Odessey & Oracle in its entirety to Seattle’s Benaroya Hall with full instrumentation, and also share new material from their highly anticipated 2015 studio release.
