What You'll Get

Coining its name from the German words for "excrement" and "night," sketch revue show Scheissennacht comes at you from a Weimar-era Berlin cabaret. This creation of writing duo Kaiser Baby (Alicia Kraft and Dan Neilan) straddles the fence between the absurd and the familiar. A six-person ensemble enacts such delights as Franz Kafka enduring the bureaucratic intricacies of Kohl's and its return policies, and a suicide hotline operator dealing with his own sense of despair. Expect the unexpected at Chicago's Public House Theatre.
