What You'll Get
Folk-pop hero Noah Gundersen is just 25, but his haunting melodies and world-weary lyrics exhibit an artistic sensibility far beyond his years. Gundersen has released more than a half-dozen acclaimed albums in the past few years, both as a solo artist and with his band The Courage (you may have heard several of his tunes on shows like Sons of Anarchy and The Vampire Diaries). Now the Seattle-based crooner comes to Sacramento's Harlow's Restaurant & Nightclub in support of his latest album, Carry the Ghost. Produced by Gundersen and mixed by indie rock legend Phil Ek (Built to Spill, The Shins), Carry the Ghost expands upon Gundersen's themes of self-discovery and existentialism, building lush new soundscapes that take his elegantly constructed songs to new heights.
