Spend Thanksgiving weekend at one of the country's most iconic music venues with this concert of choral classics honoring some of America's greatest composers. The National Festival Chorus comes to the world-famous Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall to perform a patriotic selection of works by American composers, including Stephen Paulus, Z. Randall Stroope and René Clausen, along with a rousing performance of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" conducted by Joshua Oppenheim and Julie Yu. The festive concert will also feature works by other American composers performed by Florida Gulf Coast University's Bower School of Music & the Arts Wind Orchestra and the Youngstown State University Wind Ensemble.
Running time: 2 hours, including a 20-minute intermission.
