Comedy writer Bruce Vilanch's hysterical, Emmy Award-winning writing has kept Oscars audiences rolling in the aisles for more than 20 years. Though you may not know his face, this behind-the-scenes wordsmith has penned lines for Academy Awards hosts Billy Crystal, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin and more. Vilanch has also written television series and variety specials and his racy stand-up-routine draws on his years of being a Hollywood insider. He'll share some of those showbiz stories when he comes to The Alden in McLean for Big and Tall. Joining him on stage is the "tall" part of that dynamic duo, Emmy Award-winning actress and comedian Judy Gold. She's best known for her critically-acclaimed, long-running off-Broadway show 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother and earned her two Daytime Emmys as a writer and producer on The Rosie O'Donnell Show. Together, Vilanch and Gold will fill the Big and Tall order of making you laugh with their frank and flat-out funny reminiscences.
This event is recommended for mature audiences only.
