What You'll Get
The Houston Chamber Choir raises its 27 voices in song-filled celebration of its 20th anniversary season, with a stirring concert featuring choral favorites ranging from works by Bach to the latest from today's contemporary composers. Anton Armstrong, who leads the acclaimed St. Olaf Choir, was one of the ensemble's earliest and staunchest supporters, and he'll return to conduct Ya Gotta Believe, at Houston's South Main Baptist Church. Thriving under the artistic direction of founder Robert Simpson, the chorus also recently released its third album, Soft Blink of Amber Light, which features commissions and premieres by some of the country's leading musical creators.
