What You'll Get
From the sweet and lowdown "One for My Baby" to the soaring "Fly Me to the Moon," Frank Sinatra had a song for every occasion. In celebration of Ol' Blue Eyes' 100th birthday, renowned vocalists and media personalities will gather to belt some of his best-loved tunes and raise money for lung cancer research in the process. Hosted by Emmy Award-winning critic and three-time cancer survivor Joyce Kulhawik, "High Hopes: Celebrating Sinatra's Centennial" at Lyric Stage Company of Boston will feature local favorites like Leigh Barrett, Brian De Lorenzo, Hildy Grossman, John F. King, Paula Markowicz and former WBZ newsman Scott Wahle taking the stage and singing some of Sinatra's biggest hits and inspirational gems. A silent auction precedes the show, and a light reception with cheese, crackers and soft drinks will cap the fun-filled evening.
