One of the most acclaimed musical ensembles in world history, The Vienna Boys' Choir comes to Plymouth Memorial Hall to perform traditional and contemporary holiday favorites. You'll enjoy both merry caroling and historical hymns from these cherubic voices. The choir traces its illustrious roots back to 1498, in the court of the Holy Roman Emperor. Until 1918, they sang exclusively for the imperial court, at mass, in private concerts and on state occasions. Today, the choristers -- ranging in age from 10 to 14 -- perform select dates for adoring audiences around the world, while still maintaining the tradition of the imperial musicians.
