Founded by former Alvin Ailey dancers and frequent contributors to the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance, the New York-based Complexions Contemporary Ballet has wowed critics and audiences alike. Dance declared a new "age of the super dancer" after seeing this company perform and you're invited to witness this second coming of modern dance for yourself at Infinite Energy Center. Under the artistic direction of Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, Complexions continues to lead the way into a new era of dance with its unprecedented approach to contemporary ballet. For its Gwinnett Inaugural Season, the company performs a world premiere set to Metallica, a work about unrequited love set to Bach, and the debut of the company's Icon Series, honoring Maya Angelou and featuring a performance by Desmond Richardson. These performances also include various works from throughout the company's 20-year history.
