What better place to experience a night of classic horror tales brought to life than a cemetery and mausoleum? Well, here's your chance as Unbound Productions returns with its hit show Wicked Lit at the Mountain View Mausoleum. For this year's show, the mausoleum transforms into an asylum, and you're invited to watch as all around you the inmates perform three spooky plays in this immersive, site-specific production. You'll see one of the Master of the Macabre, Edgar Allan Poe's greatest tales, "The Fall of the House of Usher;" "The Grove of Rashomon," adapted from "In a Grove," about a desperate mother's search for her missing daughter in feudal Japan; and Edith Nesbit's "The Ebony Frame," a tale of an unexpected inheritance that unlocks a dark portal to the past. The Backstage Experience tickets also include a guided tour of parts of the mausoleum and a behind-the-scenes look with the creators of the show.
Running time is approximately three hours.
This show is recommended for ages 13 and up.
This is a walking production that takes place at night. Some scenes are staged outside.
