A fast-paced wild west race against time is dazzlingly brought to the stage thanks to some high-tech wizardry. Remme's Run tells the so-crazy-it-has-to-be-true story of French-Canadian frontiersman Louis Remme, who raced on horseback from Sacramento to Portland in six days to rescue his life savings from a bank gone bust in 1855. Meanwhile, Remme's trailhand pals escort his faro-dealing lady love north by steamboat, making their own justice with wit, cunning and crooked cards. Acclaimed for its mix of "spirited, amusing and engaging ... adventure story" (Oregon Arts Watch) and "fantastic multimedia" (The Oregonian) during its limited Fertile Ground Festival run in 2014, Remme's Run now receives its highly anticipated premiere at Portland's CoHo Theater.
