What You'll Get
In 1969, Iron Butterfly's sophomore album outsold the Beatles' Abbey Road, the Stones' Let It Bleed, the Who's Tommy ... and every other record, full stop. That album, of course, was In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, the recording that announced the arrival of psychedelic rock and established Iron Butterfly as one of the biggest bands of rock 'n' roll's greatest era. Since then, everyone from Led Zeppelin to the Velvet Underground has opened for this iconic act whose far-out style and hard-core sound laid the groundwork for heavy metal. Now the original Iron Butterfly returns to the stage for a sure-to-be amazing concert at Altar Bar.
