"There's no place like home," Dorothy said, but in actuality there's no place like Oz -- with its yellow brick road, flying monkeys and Great and Powerful Wizard. Now you can visit yourself, courtesy of this exciting production of The Wizard of Oz, a stage adaptation of the 1939 Academy Award-winning film created by r.g. cantalupo, artistic director of The Los Angeles Children's Theater. When a cyclone carries off young Dorothy and her little dog Toto, the pair land in Oz (and atop a witch). Encountering the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow, they travel the magical countryside searching for the wizard who can make their dreams come true. Join them at Little Theater LA on their journey -- filled with terrific music and dance sequences, beautiful costumes and stunning special effects -- to the Emerald City.
