Lauded as "an exploding star in the musical firmament" by The Wall Street Journal, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) revisits Chicago to kick off the season's festivities with their third annual holiday concert, featuring Bach's complete Brandenburg Concertos. These six works, rarely performed together in their entirety, are among the most popular pieces ever composed by Bach, the master of the baroque. The acclaimed CMS ensemble, now in its 46th season, is famed for their Yuletide program, dubbed a "holiday staple" in their hometown by The New York Times.
The concert runs approximately two hours.
