What You'll Get
One of South America's top classical musicians, Paraguayan harpist Alfredo Rolando Ortiz once composed a piece that was performed by 232 harpists, breaking a Guinness world record. When he's not making history, he's recording (40-plus albums), doing lectures and master classes, and performing his multicultural repertoire, which covers folk, classical and popular music from around the globe. For this unique concert at Pacific Harps, Cuban-born Dr. Ortiz plays traditional harp music from Venezuela, Paraguay and Chile, along with some world favorites and original compositions.
There will be a reception following the performance.
