The classic film It's a Wonderful Life is as much a holiday tradition as Santa Claus and twinkling lights. In the fantasy dramedy, George Bailey is on the verge of committing suicide on Christmas Eve -- until his guardian angel Clarence shows up and reveals how different life would be for George's loved ones if he had never been born. This year, spice up the season with Aurora Theatre Company's production of This Wonderful Life. In this loving and clever adaptation, one actor plays all 36 characters while providing a running commentary that satirizes the conventionality and corniness of the movie. This zippy 80-minute production debuts at the Phoenix Theatre in Edmonds, where the Aurora Theatre Company will be collecting non-perishable food items at each performance for donation to Food Lifeline.
