What You'll Get
It's the classical music highlight of every holiday season. Handel's Messiah is a glorious tradition expressing Christ's birth, death and resurrection in song, and featuring the famous "Hallelujah" chorus. Unlike most of Handel's oratorios, Messiah showcases the chorus as a whole, rather than the soloists, giving the work a greater emotional impact. Performed by the 200 voices of the New Dominion Chorale, as well as a a quartet of soloists of national and international renown, Messiah is a truly powerful and uplifting musical experience to kick off the winter season.
- Soprano Esther Heideman,
- Alto Laura Zuiderveen
– Tenor Issachah Savage

Mr. Savage recently performed in Wagner’s “Rienzi” with the National Philharmonic. His performance in the title role was given extraordinary praise by Anne Midgette, classical music critic of The Washington Post, who said he has “that rarest of instruments: a large voice of melting beauty.”
