Enjoy your history with a side of whiskey on this walking tour of Denver's LoDo and Five Points districts. You'll learn how Denver went from a mine town to a hub for travelers heading west as you visit historic Union Station and Denver's first hotel, the Crawford Hotel. You'll also make a stop at Rockmount Ranchwear, where you can pick up some authentic cowboy gear, and then you'll head over to El Chapultepec. This legendary Jazz bar and Mexican cantina has been around since 1933 and boasts their famous "El Chapultepec Shot," a mix of silver tequila, creme de mint and a real dehydrated grasshopper! (You can try one for a discounted price if you're feeling brave.) Finally, the tour ends at Mile High Spirits, a small batch distillery with some of the best whiskey and spirits in Denver available for you to try -- the perfect reward for that 3/4 mile walk you just completed.
Each attendee who wants to participate in the alcohol tastings must be 21 years of age or older and have proper government-issued ID. Guests under the age of 21 may attend with an adult and must purchase a ‘sober’ ticket (not available through Goldstar, but can be purchased through Centennial Tours website, and booking service).
The tour is 2.5 hours long.
