Ryan Marcone's world premiere play The Island Boys follows Jonah and William, the only two survivors of a shipwreck that turned their high school retreat into national news. Five years after their rescue, Jonah is releasing a book detailing his harrowing experience and is prepping to discuss it on a popular morning news show. He's caught off guard when William unexpectedly shows up at the interview to share the spotlight. It's the first time they've seen each other in years and now the boys must face one another and unearth the demons they've kept buried since that ill-fated incident. Get swept away by the drama of it all at New York's Urban Stages Theatre.
