A classic of English literature is boldly reinvented for the stage in National Theatre in London's production of Jane Eyre. But you don't have to travel across the pond to experience this acclaimed show, because the Irvine Barclay Theatre is bringing Charlotte Brontë's masterpiece to you on the big screen and in HD. Even the Supernanny could be excused for skipping the governess gig at Thornfield Hall. The house is a gloomy gothic pile, the other servants are strange and the boss ... well, let's just say Mr. Rochester has other things on his mind. But the orphaned and impoverished Jane Eyre has little choice but to take the job, thereby setting into motion not only one of the greatest romances of English literature, but a horror story that would spook Stephen King.
Please note: This is a broadcast presentation of a filmed stage production.
