Q:

Which Doctor will be performing the surgery? Does the groupon apply to the bladeless technique? Does the groupon include the eye drops for the procedure or are they extra?

Briana C.  asked on  Aug 20, 2012

A:

The procedures are performed by Drs Harmon Stein, Ilan Cohen and John Kung. The surgeon depends upon when you schedule, however, if you prefer to pick one that is okay. We do offer bladeless LASIK at additional cost. The Groupon would include LASIK with the traditional microkeratome. Eye drops are prescribed and therefore you need to get them through the pharmacy. If you do not have prescription coverage, our staff can discuss options for generics to keep the cost low.

Q:

How soon can we get an appointment and after the procedure how soon can we start normal daily routine or go out.

madhuri s.  asked on  Aug 20, 2012

A:

Appointments are available every day for consultations with little to no wait times. After the procedure most people are back to normal activiites the next day. There are certain activities, like swimming, contact sports and working in dirty environments that we ask you avoid for 1 to 2 weeks.
