What You'll Get
Ancient bowlers quickly gave up launching cereal bowls, their original pin-toppling tool, after ineffective throws resulted in still-vertical sticks and a mess of spilt milk and corn flakes. Roll a well-rounded sphere with today’s Groupon: for $12, you get four games and four shoe rentals on weekdays or three games and three shoe rentals on weekends (up to a $25.50 value) at Canoga Park Bowl in Winnetka.
Canoga Park Bowl boasts slick lanes and myriad memory-making opportunities within its lively confines, catering to entertainment enthusiasts 24 hours each day. Lace up a pair of snazzy kicks before selecting your multihued ball, then send a three-holed punch hurtling towards pin-shaped targets. Ideal for groups of pals and solitary strike specialists alike, various open-bowling times are strewn throughout the week. Head out after work with colleagues or pop in early for a pre-breakfast feast of strikes, spares, and soul-satisfying turkeys.
In addition to bowling, the multi-amusement emporium showcases billiards, arcade games, and banquet facilities, posing as a perfect hotspot for your next family gathering or stuffed-animal birthday party.
Canoga Park Bowl offers its own deals at certain times of the week that may be better values than this deal. Plan ahead to make sure you're redeeming your Groupon at the most opportune time.
- Great bowling ally! [sic] I don't bowl much but when I do, I like to come here. Michael D., Yelp, 2/14/11

About Winnetka Bowl
Bowlers could easily spend an entire day at Winnetka Bowl. The automatic pinsetters punch their tiny time cards every morning at 9 a.m., and don't stop reassembling pins until the wee hours of the night: midnight Monday through Thursday, and 2 a.m. Friday through Sunday. The long hours allow bowlers plenty of practice—and plenty of chances for some to show off the skills they gain in leagues and tournaments here.
The center offers lot more entertainment, too. Beyond open bowling, the fun spills over into an arcade and a billiard room. Between games, an onsite cafe serves refreshments and a lounge hosts karaoke and live music.
