It was a fun experience for my children. We didn't have a problem with cashier/sales personnel when we told them we bought the tickets from groupon.

Excellent time!! Cape May Whale Watcher is the best. We cruised with them 2 years ago and wanted to go again. We accidentally booked the wrong place originally and missed our cruise. The other place didn't have space for vouchers the entire next day.....cape may whale watcher not only had space for us but they also waived the 24 wait period to use the Groupon voucher!! The 6 of us had a great time and saw tons of dolphins!! I highly recommend Cape May Whale Watcher!! Fyi..we also saw the other company's boat (some company starting with a U) while out and there was hardly anyone on it!!

What You'll Get

A recent survey ranks whales' bellies ahead of safety-deposit boxes and mattresses as the preferred place to store valuables. Experience one of nature's most priceless resources with today's Groupon: for $20, you get one admission to the three-hour Big Trip whale-and-dolphin-watching excursion from Cape May Whale Watcher (up to a $40 value). Big Trip tours depart daily at 1 p.m. and admission for children 6 and younger is free with each paid adult.

Garnering a smorgasbord of press and awards including recognition from the New York Times, Cape May Whale Watcher guides seafarers on newsworthy expeditions of the Atlantic’s Delaware Bay, boldly guaranteeing every passenger aboard glimpses of a marine mammal. Wading into the bay’s fish-thronged island estuary, the three-hour Big Trip pledges possible sightings of bottle-nosed dolphins, sea turtles, or Poseidon’s weekly trident-throwing practice. Wayfarers then turn their sights to whale watching, veering offshore to tail the bay’s gams of humpback, fin, and minke whales. Set out to sea on the 110-foot Cape May Whale Watcher, a vessel specially designed for crowd-pleasing marine safaris. Cetacean excursions are captained by the ocean-savvy Jeff Stewart, who has narrated voyages in both English and Porpoise for more than 30 years.

While aboard, seafarers satisfy the call for landlubbing creature comforts with amenities including a fully stocked snack bar serving draft beer and wine. The boat has heat and air conditioning for maximally comfortable dolphin viewing and debates on whether or not whales are made of cheese.

About Cape May Whale Watcher

The blue waves foam, disturbed by something massive in the depths. Then, in a flurry of spray, a humpback whale breaks the surface, slapping the water with its gray and white fins. This exhilarating sight is frequently afforded to guests of Cape May Whale Watcher. Helmed by Captains Jeff Stewart Sr. and Jr. alongside Captains Miles, Jack, and Jim, the company’s fleet of two provides comfortable, fast-paced passage to some of the favorite haunts of marine mammals on the eastern seaboard. Knobble-jawed humpbacks and smooth-skinned finbacks are often found frolicking and playing in the teeming ecosystem of Delaware Bay and the surrounding ocean, and the Stewart family offers a guarantee that if no whales, dolphins, or porpoises are spotted, tourists receive a complimentary, never-expiring voucher for another venture. Besides their cetacean-spotting voyages, the vessels run historical lighthouse cruises and catered sunset tours.
