You get strength, flexibility, agility, and rythym training in their classes.
They are fantastic, welcoming and tailor towards where you are at in your fitness, it's great!
If I wasn't already committed, I'd commit to joining them, for sure!

So much fun! The beginner drop-in class had a sampler of everything: attack, defense, evasion, motion, balance, and some partner work. The instructor gave everyone individual attention and corrected their posture and movement, which, for a total newbie was much appreciated! The environment felt very safe and I felt comfortable trying new things. I would definately recommend Capoeira Ache Brasil Calgary, whether they're looking for an artistic or athletic outlet

Classes are for children between 6 and 14 years old and take place Mondays from 6.15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. all year long, with exception of staff holidays. Kids are also encouraged to stay for a roda on Mondays from 7:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

First developed in Brazil some 400 years ago, caopeira synthesizes martial arts combat, acrobatics, dance, and up-tempo music into energetic routines that build strength, flexibility, and creativity. Along with instructional classes, the studio's instructors and students perform at festivals and events throughout Calgary, dazzling eyes with dynamic kicks, flips, and midair hand-jiving.
