About A Chat with Capoeira Senzala - Professor Sapulha

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Grupo Senzala de Capoeira is a world-renowned Capoeira group specializing in helping people discover their full potential. With a healthy balance of time-tested and constantly evolving concepts and principles, we excel at creating a friendly and fun atmosphere where learning is intuitive.

Is your location strictly for adults, or can kids participate as well?
There is no age restriction to participate in Capoeira, or to purchase this deal. However, children under 3 years of age may experience some difficulty following the concepts presented in class.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Capoeira promotes a healthy body and mind, and teaches the practitioner to hold steady focus in everyday life. The inspiration to create the New Brunswick / Highland Park branch of Senzala came from recognizing that these often-overlooked values are important to building confidence and self-worth.

What do you love most about your job?
What we love most about our job is seeing people overcome personal barriers. These can be physical, such as performing a movement that previously seemed impossible. They can also be of the mind, such as being hesitant to dance in public. We share the student’s joy in overcoming them.
