Carlton Chiropractic’s two doctors call on years of experience to nurture spines and alleviate symptoms of ailments such as carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and herniated disks. During chiropractic exams, physicians probe patients’ physiques for signs of wear and tear, aided by a full set of x-rays that unveil curvature irregularities and water balloons masquerading as lungs. Doctors tailor adjustments to clients’ concerns, using motions ranging from localized pushing to slow, steady pressure, locking spines back into place and preventing misaligned spinal joints from disrupting nearby nerves. Other services soothe spines with specialized therapy such as electric muscle stimulation, balance-improving neuromuscular reeducation, and intersegmental traction—an accordion-evoking procedure that resets backbones by drawing joints gently apart, further soothing vertebrae. During massages, therapists knead away aches and pains, leaving backs ready for another day with messenger bags full of concrete book statues.

Carlton Chiropractic

Doctor of Chiropractic Ed Carlton found chiropractic care at age 23 after he had spent years suffering severe pain caused by an accident and nearly lost all hope. Not only did a chiropractor alleviate his pain, but the experience also inspired him to study at Texas Chiropractic College. Today he works alongside his wife and fellow alum, Dr. Paola Carlton, to alleviate symptoms of ailments such as carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and herniated disks.

In a caring and personal environment, they employ traditional and technologically advanced methods to heal patients. Far-infrared light treatments soothe aching feet, whereas adjustments help to correctly position joints and eliminate their interference with the nervous system. The chiropractors also use procedures such as electrical muscle stimulation and neuromuscular reeducation to treat maladies caused by the g-forces involved in car accidents. In addition, they employ an advanced LiteCure Class IV system to penetrate deep beneath the tissue with FDA-cleared lasers in an effort to reduce pain and inflammation better than a cold compress filled with melted ice cream.

Customer Reviews

I wasn't convinced that chiropractic care could help me with my painful shoulders, but Carlton Chiropractic has made a believer of me. I go there on a regular basis now, and I feel so much better.

The Groupon is a great value, including an x-ray, consultation and massage. Drs Ed and Paola Carlton are very professional, friendly, and the staff is efficient and friendly as well. I have visited this practice for several months following my Groupon visit, am now on a monthly maintenance program, and have not had any lower back pain since I started my treatments. I am satisfied with the results and would recommend Carlton Chriopratic to others to give it a try.
