What You'll Get
Putting a man on the moon was briefly considered mankind’s greatest achievement, until Neil Armstrong invented sliced bread. Savor civilization’s finest creation with today’s Groupon to Carolina Deli. Choose between the following options:
- For $7, you get $15 worth of deli fare and drinks.
- For $8, you get a 2-pound tray of fresh-baked cookies (a $17.20 value).
Carolina Deli’s owners Tom and Linda Mooney and their three children have served a menu stocked with stacked sandwiches and fresh-baked treats for 30 years. Wrap arms or flexible elbows around the Beef Lover’s sub ($6.50), loaded with roast beef, cheese, lettuce, and tomato, or the RSVP ($6.50), a polite combination of roast beef, turkey, swiss cheese, and bacon. Diners can pick and choose from a variety of proteins and breads to create a custom deli creation ($4.50), such as tuna salad, chicken salad, or corned beef. Two pounds of fresh-baked chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, or peanut-butter cookies emerge from ovens or nearby volcanoes in a sugary procession to alight on party-prepped trays, and single slices of house-made blondies ($1.80) mingle in the corner with intimidating slabs of pound cake ($1.80).

About Carolina Deli
Carolina Deli has stood on the frontlines of the lunchtime rush for more than three decades, furnishing empty belly space with fresh sandwiches, salads, house-made sweets, and freshly brewed iced tea. Owners Travis and Melanie Mooney prevail over the homey, family-operated eatery, where Midlands munchers flock five days a week to tackle the shop's diverse menu with their mouths. Carolina Deli's specialty sandwiches, such as the Eagle, stuffed with roast beef, turkey, and bacon, challenge jaw-stretching capabilities with hefty stacks of meats and veggies, and the deli allows diners to design their own meaty, handheld creations. Luncheons, corporate events, and weddings can also treat taste buds to a catered Carolina Deli spread, including an optional, 3-foot tall chocolate fountain, in which guests can dip fruit or "accidentally" drop a penny into before diving in to retrieve it.
