I loved this place; so eclectic and cultural. I thought the menu was great. The only thing is I would recommend ordering drinks from the same bartender. Each bartender had their own unique style when making drinks, so the same drink tasted different each time. There's no happy hour, so expect to pay full price for beverages if going after work. Otherwise, thumbs up.

About Casa La Femme

It might be hard to believe, but even in New York, there's no place quite like Casa La Femme, which has been in business for 25 years. Where else do some of Egypt's best belly dancers entertain night after night? Where else does a massive crystal chandelier hang above a floor of living grass? What's more, where else contains all that, and also serves hummus, crab-and-shrimp koftas, and rice-stuffed peppers that New York magazine's Hal Rubenstein described most succinctly as "magical." He wasn't alone. Zagat reviewers pinned the restaurant's decor at a 25 out of 30, and reviewers from the New York Times and NYCGo clashed only on if the decor or the food was more impressive.
