He's shared the stage with international luminaries like Yo-Yo Ma and Placido Domingo, and now Ramon Negron is bringing his exceptionally talented string ensemble to the gorgeous Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, perched on a bluff overseeing the historic San Clemente Pier. A member of the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra for 16 years, Negron is currently an adjunct faculty member of viola and chamber music at the University of San Diego, and the music director and conductor of the newly formed Kensington Baroque Orchestra. Adding an extra layer of authenticity to the performance, musicians in the Ramon Negron Baroque String Ensemble perform on period instruments, including an 18th-century Italian style harpsichord.
