About Casey Jones Distillery

No point in denying it: Casey Jones was arrested and did time. His crime? Making the best copper stills in Kentucky. Considering his stills were used to make illegal spirits in Golden Pond, Kentucky, also known as the moonshine capital of the world, it makes sense why he fell afoul of Johnny Law. Even after imprisonment, Casey Jones cared enough about copper stills and moonshine whiskey that he kept it up, continuing to craft the best copper stills. For his craftsmanship, Jones earned himself a reputation as the best still builder in Golden Pond, a few bucks per job, and a gallon or two cut of the spirits as a bonus.

Fast forward a few decades and a lot has changed, including the fact that moonshine (and making a still, for that matter) is perfectly legal. But some things haven't changed. For instance, The Joneses are still in the moonshine business, only now its Casey's grandson who's involved. Using corn ground and mashed on site, and an authentic Golden Pond still, the young Jones cranks out craft batches of Kentucky moonshine meant for slow sipping. The results, called Casey's Cut, carries heat and flavors that range from oak to apple, resulting in authentic moonshine you can sip or make into a mean moon-a-rita.
