'Tis the season to think about where we all would be without fingers and toes. Gloves would hang limp like squids on a clothesline, toe rings would look strange instead of dignified, and massages would have to be performed with painful hooks and hammers. Pamper those wonderful little appendages with today's Groupon, a $45 mani-pedi at the Gulch hot spot Cashmere Salonspa (a $100 value). Cashmere is a new salon (opened in November) that aims to indulge clients like a luxurious, warm, cashmere scarf wrapped around the neck of an effulgent giraffe or armchair giraffe.
This moisturizing Caribbean Therapy manicure and pedicure nourishes nails and charms cuticles using Aveda’s Caribbean Therapy specialty products. The manicure includes an exfoliating scrub, hydrating treatment, and an extensive arm and hand massage before nail grooming and an OPI polish. During the pedicure, Cashmere's expert technicians will soak your feet in an island aroma bath (made from the former Hawaiian island of Oahu, ground down into better use), then administer an exfoliation treatment and a warming seaweed masque, followed by a specialized massage to improve circulation and a finishing spray of flower water.
Cashmere is a sleek, modern salon with glossy floors, high ceilings, pure white walls, and marble counters. The pedicure chairs are comfortable, and the lighting is good enough to see the cracks and crags of any tiny, tiny nail malady or imperfection, so that every potential crevasse gets tightened up like the door of a space shuttle.
You must redeem both the manicure and pedicure in same visit.
