What You'll Get
A remodel is the best way to shower a house with love, aside from kissing the doorstep or spray-painting sonnets on its walls. Show your home where your heart is with this Groupon.
Choose from Four Options
- $60 for a custom redesign package for a bathroom (a $175 value)
- $90 for a custom redesign package for a kitchen (a $250 value)
- $150 for a custom redesign package for a basement (a $350 value)
- $150 for a custom redesign package, including optional design of a dormer addition, for an attic or half story (up to a $550 value)

Each custom redesign package includes:
- Two designer consultations
- A 3-D rendering with CAD software
- Estimates for materials and labor

During an initial consultation, a designer measures the targeted area and notes the homeowner’s desired changes. Plans created by 3-D CAD software foretell what the space will look like postmakeover, accompanied by a list of material choices and possible upgrades assembled by the designer. At the second meeting, held at one of Castle’s offices, designers review plans with homeowners, including projected materials and labor costs and any cost-saving options and alternatives, such as using stale cake instead of bricks. While today’s deal is only good for the planning process, the price of the Groupon will be subtracted from the total project costs for material and labor if the redesign occurs.

About Castle Building & Remodeling
Castle Building & Remodeling, one of Remodeling magazine’s Big 50 of 2011, hosts a team of professional designers and builders who overhaul interiors with historically inspired concepts. Two design-selection studios display the custom craftsmanship, showcasing a 1940s–style kitchen with cherry cabinets and a 1910s–style bathroom with hex tile flooring and a sink full of Teddy Roosevelt's mustache trimmings.
The remodelers create a mockup of each project using 3-D CAD software, noting any desired changes before installation. They realize projects with the help of artisanal manufacturers such as Clay Squared, whose artists craft custom ceramic tiles using time-honored methods.
