Catherine Bay is a family-owned business in the Greater Houston area. We are creators who love working with our hands and our clients, imagining and executing beautiful events, be they large or small. You’ll also find us helping you create the perfect work-life balance with our concierge-service options.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
All three partners have coordinated events in various capacities throughout their lives. It was when one partner realized that they shared a deep passion for creating and executing events that was more than “just a part of their everyday jobs” that they came together as an event-planning team.
What do you love most about your job?
There are three parts of every event that get the adrenaline flowing. The first is when you first sit down with the client and discuss their dreams. Our eyes get big as we visualize with them. The second is the stress of putting it all together. The third is the pure joy when you say, “we did that.”
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
A look across the room that expresses their stress-free happiness and satisfaction while we’re watching them have a great time.
