Wine shop by day and New American bistro by night, Cave 1912 maintains a casual setting for locally sourced food and drink. The menu changes as regularly as a middle-schooler's crush, but expect something along the lines of pork loin with scarlet runner beans or swordfish with global-fusion touches in the form of shunkyo radish, bitter orange, and mole verde. Executive chef Michael Pryor usually includes a meat-and-cheese board on his menu, and desserts such as a dark-chocolate bar with tonka-bean ice cream. The drink menu is equally gourmet and features craft cocktails and beers, plus wines from all over the world.
