Owned by a Coast Guard–certified charter captain, Cedar Key Marina II outfits leisure-seekers and fishermen with Bentley pontoons and fishing skiffs on which to cruise the picturesque coast. The marina’s knowledgeable staff help parties of two or four stock up at the full tackle and bait shop before heading out to pull trout, redfish, and snapper onto the decks of 18-, 19-, or 20-foot Polar and Carolina fishing skiffs. Alternately, accommodate up to seven on the 20-foot Bentley pontoon, outfitted with benches and a 90-horsepower engine, using it to navigate the surrounding waterways for up to four hours, or 10 years if a passenger offends Poseidon with his hubris. All boats are outfitted with Bimini tops, which adjust to provide partial shade, full sunlight, or complete darkness for telling ghost stories.

About Cedar Key Marina II
Cedar Key Marina II’s shallow coastal waters provide a home not only for dozens of boats, but also Coast Guard–certified charter captains, shipwrights, and fishermen of all stripes. Captains lead charters along beaches, chasing distantly spotted dorsal fins or the echo of underwater horseplay from schools of fish. They also rent out their vessels—a collection of skiffs and pontoons—to experienced fisherfolk looking to conduct their own four- to eight-hour excursions. Boat owners can rent dock space to safely moor their vessels, allowing the marina’s technicians to perform maintenance and repairs while they are docked.
