My daughter and I had a lovely time. The food was nicely prepared, the staff gave us just the right amount of attention, and the dining room was set up in an elegant way. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon in conversation.

What a wonderful relaxing time with my daughter Kama we were treated like queens and were able to just enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. If I had the chance I'd go in summer when you could walk the grounds

Lovely setting for afternoon tea -- feeling of being in the country at an old mansion. The tea room is grand, servers friendly an helpful. Food was exceptional -- a variety of savory and sweet petite servings, presented in an artistic way.

Everything about this experience was just okay. Nothing was bad, but nothing was especially good either. The room was beautiful but everything else was just okay.

About Cedarhurst Mansion

Cedarhurst Mansion’s long and distinguished history has earned it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places, but the estate’s popularity is far from a thing of yesteryear. Originally the summer home for prominent Minnesota attorney Cordenio Severance, the mansion played host to US presidents well into the early 1900s. Although modern presidents stay elsewhere when visiting, the 10-acre estate still maintains busy schedule. It serves as a charming setting for weddings and social gatherings, which might make use of its 100-foot veranda, English gardens, and Cass Gilbert Ballroom
